Review! New Wet n Wild Coloricon Bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana 743A

Hello again!  I bring you another Wet n Wild product for 2012.  Its the Wet n Wild Coloricon Bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana.   I normally don't do bronzers.  I have one from the Maybelline Fit Me line that I have yet to use..but something about this one said "buy me...you know you want to..".  And buy it I did.  The Coloricon Bronzer line actually has 3 shades.  This one is the lightest..the other two seem a bit too dark for my pale skin tone.  Anyway..lets see how this baby did- on to my review!

(743A- Reserve Your Cabana-pretty right?)

(oohhh..aahhhh)

Packaging: Its a beast.  You get a full .46oz of product, and this retails for only $3.99.  Oh yeah..bang for your buck. Plus, how can you not love the cute sun in the pan?  Also this, and all 3 of the Coloricon Bronzers have SPF 15 in it. Gotta love something that intends to give you a sunkissed glow, that protects you from the sun at the same time.

Color: Ahhh..this is where I'm sure there will be a debate.  The color is as it looks in the pan.  Super super pale bronze.  It has only a hint of shimmer.  So maybe for super pale peeps, it'll work as a subtle bronze or possibly a highlight.  (Swatch time!)

Consistancy/Performance: The powder is super super soft, and is a joy to apply and blend.  As you can see above, on me, it gives a beautiful subtle bronze glow.  I can tell you right now..this bronzer is not going to be everyone's cup of tea.   Its super super light, and might possibly be used as a highlighter.  However, as it is..its not a "dirty " bronze.  Its got nice subtle gold undertones..  When I used it as a contour shade it lasted about 4hrs before it faded (and couldnt see it anymore..).  Not too bad.

Overall:  This is a good beginner bronzer.  Its good for those who have just started to dip their toes into the world of bronzers (and contouring your cheeks..).   It adds a nice subtle glow to the face, and is perfect for contouring since it's impossible to get wrong.  The color can be built up (and I did..), and for my first time contouring..it really made a difference.  Its not going to be suitable for too many since its so light.  However, as it is with most (if not all ) drugstore cosmetics..check this out..and if you don't like it..return or exchange it (keep your receipt!).  Do I love it? YES!!!  Is it suitable for everyone? No..

All opinions expressed here are my own.
