Its time for applause-Its my Very First FOTD!

Hello all!  Its time for..no..not another review ;)  Its my very first FOTD (or Face Of The Day..for those not familiar with blog lingo).

Cue the applause!

I've debated on/off with myself for a while about whether or not this should be a "faceless" blog.  Maybe post eotd's (eye of the day's) but nothing showing my whole face. In the end I decided to show my face because I realized I appreciated those who actually did . I drew inspiration from them.  So here I am.  This is me (without glasses...I normally sport red frames)

(ignore the marks on my nose where my glasses rest-you cant see them normally ;)

Ok..phew. That wasnt so hard...

What I'm wearing:
*Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation (Ivory) (review coming soon)
*MAC Sable e/s
*MAC Blush in Dainty
*Rimmel Scandeleyes  Waterproof Khol Kajal in Brown (review coming soon)

I've begun to realize that with my hooded eyes (when you can see little to nothing of your eyelid when its open) sporting one, maybe two shadows is best. You cant really see any shadow as it is, so I just used Sable on the lid and blended up into the crease.  Dainty blush from MAC was something I was on the fence about, but here, it looks great.  The foundation and eyeliner I'm testing out, and I kind of love them . This whole look took me less then 5 min, and I think it turned out wonderfully.

Btw.  I wear glasses all day, every day.  I didnt post that pic here, because I wanted you to see my makeup (and not be distracted by my red frames). Because I wear glasses,  eyeliner (and mascara) are great ways of bringing out your eyes without looking like you did "too much".

What do you all think? Too simple? Just enough?
