Starting Off Project: Skincare

Hello all!  For the next few weeks I'll be involved in the "Starting off" Project.  This project was the brainchild of Steph over at Steph's Inside Voice, and its aim is to give tips to  makeup newbies just starting out.

This week's topic is Skincare.

I must admit, I'm a bit lax on taking good care of my skin, however the best tip I can give is to always wash off your makeup! So a good cleanser (that works for your skintype ) is a must.  I have combination oily/normal skin.  I get shiny in my tzone and my cheeks stay nice a normal.

The best cleanser I've found for my skin is Origin's Checks and Balances Frothy Face wash.  Its good for those with combination skin who need something slighly oil controling but not drying.  This stuff is amazing.  My skin always looks 100x better after I use this.  Its nice and soothing and doesnt leave my face feeling all tight (dry).

First I wet my face, then apply the face wash and rinse!  I always follow up with a moisturizer (currently Aveeno).

You can pick this up at Sephora or any Origins store.  It usually runs about 21$  and is huge.  Ive used it almost every day, and havent run out yet.  A little goes a long way with this!
