Swatches and Review of NYX's Love in Paris Palette (in Madeleins and Macaroons)

Hello all! Today I have for you a quick review of NYX's Love in Paris Palette called Madaleins and Macaroons.

What NYX says: "The City of Lights has nothing on the sparkle in your eyes. Highlight their seductive glimmer with these brilliant high-fashion palettes featuring 9 richly-pigmented shades and a dual-ended applicator for easy, on-the-go touch-ups. The cute, compact kits give you a world of high-fashion looks at your fingertips." (source)

This palette offers some soft neutrals, and shimmers and mattes.  My kind of palette!

However, all eyeshadows are not created equal in this palette.  As you can see from my swatches, some shades barely showed up.  So, here's a rundown:
1,5, 7,8,9: Sheer and patchy.  Not smooth at all, and 5 was gritty.
2,3,4,& 6 : Nicely pigmented and smooth.

7,8 & 9 : The worst of the palette, which made me sad because they're definitely fun shades to use.  9 I couldnt even get to show up on my eye at all.

Overall:  The palette is ok at best.  Is it worth the 10$ at ULTA that I paid?  No.  If  you want to try this , wait until it goes on sale (and keep the receipt)
