Hello all!  I have some bottle shots for you from Loreal's Gold Dust Coll.  The collection is made up of glittery liquid sand polishes.

Sexy in Sequins is purple with large purple  glitter, and smaller gold glitter sprinkled throughout.  Too Dimensional is blue with larger bluish / silver glitter, with smaller gold glitter sprinkled throughout.

Blame it on the Unconventional Makeup Junkie..

                                                           

My best friend Victoria over at The Unconventional Makeup Junkie is a nailophile.  She loves nail polishes, and I blame my recent spat of nail polish purchases all on her!  She posts on loads of different things ( I love her makeup meme mondays!), but she has this nail polish challenge going on where she wears a different polish every week.  I love seeing her posts..and dammit.  Its peer pressure!  (j/k.  I love her..but it has definitely influenced me..).

NOTD! Layla Ceramic Effect Nail Polish CE-52

Time for another NOTD!  This time its Layla Ceramic Effect nail polish in CE-52 (butterfly effect)

I picked up this beauty on clearance at Ulta.  I know..CLEARANCE. The polish looks like its full of duochromey goodness, but the duochrome is less noticeable on the nail then it is in the bottle.  However, its still the most gorgeous polish I have to date .  It looks like a deep purple with gold flakeys in it, and i love it.   I wish I could get more of the pink and green to show up, but how can you not love this anyway?  The polish is sheer, but the formula is good.  It dries pretty quickly, and applies nice and evenly.

Swatches! Loreal Project Runway Nailpolish in The Muse's Attitude

Along with the blush and eyeshadow that I picked up from the Loreal Project Runway collection, I also picked up two nailpolishes ...then promptly put one back. However, I started to regret not having it (I have a soft spot for teal polishes) and so my awesome husband managed to hunt one down in a CVS.  I'm so glad he did, as I LOVE this color!

The first coat of this applies patchy, and pools a bit at the sides.  However, the 2nd coat (or 3rd..4th..), evens things out, and applies really smooth.  I love the dark teal color.  Its excellent for fall, and I love the way it looks in the sunlight.  I cant tell you how many compliments I've gotten.  This polish is totally worth the work, and the hunt.
